THE LUXE DESIGN PROCESS

Initial Client Meeting

We commence with an initial meeting with you, and view your site, or your architectural set of plans. We establish your design brief and the scope of works required for your unique project. We assess your budget, time frames and the overall goals you would like to achieve.  

Fee Estimate

We review your design and consider your individual needs and prepare a fee estimate, this proposal covers the amount of work, time and cost we estimate will need to meet your requirements and undertake your project.

Concept Ideation

Upon acceptance of the fee estimate, we begin our design process. We propose a visual language to you in the form of imagery, mood boards, product samples and materials for your initial feedback. This defines the look and style for your project.

Detailed Design

Once the concept is defined and approved, we can begin to develop a detailed design for your project. The hard fit-out such as custom cabinetry, kitchen, and bathroom layouts are presented, colours and materials selected, including hardware and product selections for your project.

Soft fit-out selections such as furniture, rugs, and accessories are selected or we can custom design to suit your project.  

Documentation

Our in house Archicad drawings include a high level of detailing. We design all custom cabinetry, bathroom and kitchen layouts, providing plans and elevations. All detailing outside the architects scope is included. 

We also provide a comprehensive finishes and fittings schedule for all contractors involved in the project.

Procurement

We can manage the procurement of products, we negotiate special rates, and oversee the delivery of products to your site, whilst liaising with your builder or project manager to suit the building schedule. 

Design Management

Observation of the construction phase ensures the design intent is followed and kept to a high standard. This includes liasing with contractors, suppliers, your builder, architect and site visits for successful execution.
